THE ROGUE: AN ANALYSIS
The rogue is a reluctant hero. Fancying himself a ladies man and often criminally inclined he is usually the one who is dragged into the quest against his will and yet he stays against his better judgment.
Not the one to make friends easily his sarcastic wit, thieving ways and look-out-for-number-one attitude tends to grate on the patience of the other members of the quest. Yet, in the course of the quest the rogue will, in the end, find his true worth as a hero and oddly enough becomes the one most likely to perform “noble sacrifice”. And thus giving his comrades greater resolve to succeed. |

Studlystu999 was an internet predator. Trolling the chatrooms in search of teens dumb enough to fall for his smooth lines. Hoping that they would invite him over. (and that it wasn’t a trap set by that tv show.) And at last he found what he’d been hunting for. A naive teen who gave him her address. Gathering up his "party supplies" he jumped into his car and started off on the four hour drive.

| Well Chowy here you go. I have done a Green Lantern Character here. I used a couple of combinations on the suit. There was one posted not too long ago by JoshMC, which I loved the look and feel to the costume that was done, with Ryan. Which was my main inspiration to pull from. Plus other references around the net. So hopefully I did it all justice with my image. As well last Supergirl post MissVee commented about the layers in Photoshop, well 206 Layers, counting shapes and cutouts, and here we are at the final image. The model is Jessic Joy. Artwork is of course mine, and Green Lantern character to DC. So take a look let me know what you guys think. Hope everyone likes, and as always love the comments and crits on images. :) |

[They are my very own “women in black” if you will, except that obviously they wear multi-colored costumes rather than black suits and ties. | I've been reading a lot of old X-Men lately [the mid-70's Byrne-Claremont years] and have found a lot of great new material to get me inspired. For example, when I saw Ororo in this sexy little number in Issue #109, I knew I had to draw her in it. Fortunately I found the perfect model for it [in one of my old Hooters calanders] and think the final image turned out pretty good. Expect more mutant goodness like this from me in the near future. |

THE SAGE: AN ANALYSIS
A wise mentor to some. A disturber of the peace to others. The sage appears from nowhere to call the hero to his destiny. To make him aware of danger posed by the adversary and nudge him out the door. Always there to dispense advise (usually in the form of riddles) the sage is never one to sugarcoat anything, telling the hero what he’s up against and what needs to be done to win the quest.
Whether he’s an ancient wizard, teacher at a school for the gifted or an aging space knight, the quest begins with the sage. |
