Re: Solar the Destroyer : Nov Challenge-A Valiant Effort Later, manipulated by Master Darque, Phil releases another Solar, the Destroyer, now journeys through the galaxy, seeking to annihilate the Spider Alien Homeworld.
Solar has the ability to split himself into alternate selves and has done this on several occasions, usually as the result of tremendous stress : one of his selves, Solar the Destroyer, went off into deep space in search of the Spider-Aliens;

Re: Solar, man of the atom : Nov Challenge-A Valiant Effort Somewhere in the middle between Solar and The Destroyer. Solar split into 2 seperate people (one to stay on earth one to hunt down the Spider Alien Homeworld) The newer split off version looked like this but with blonder hair. On the Cover they would add the tag The Destroyer under the Solar title whenever this copy was featured in a story. Also the Spider Aliens refered to it as The Destroyer. Down the line this version returned to Earth about 2000 years later in the 4020AD ish run of Magnus Robot Figher/Rai/Starwaters/Psi Lords. Changed his appearance somewhat (got a goatee, lost the symbol and the blue bits and had a gold chest peice with an emblem) This version began to call itself The Destroyer as the Solar he had split off from was dead. And yes I read and own every Valiant book up until they went to Acclaim. I'm such a comic geek Gouge

Re: Solar, man of the atom : Nov Challenge-A Valiant Effort I'm not familiar with him, except Wasmith's gender bedner, and that was in the all red costume. I like this costume. I think you did a great job with this!

Re: Solar, man of the atom : Nov Challenge-A Valiant Effort No. This is not the Destroyer. This is the look that(one time called Dr.) Solar got sometime in 1993. He used to be in an all red costume with only the yellow symbol on his chest. Check it out online.

Re: Solar, man of the atom : Nov Challenge-A Valiant Effort Ok, I'm up to agreeing with DD. This doesn't seem to be the one I remember. I WAS thinking you revamped him, and in that I would've said you did a damn fine job.

Re: Solar, man of the atom : Nov Challenge-A Valiant Effort You're close but I think this is "The Destoryer" and he is also the future Dr.Solar? But I like it!
