Now thats cool. I really like the greyed hughes with the stark red of DD and Electra. Excellent job.

Thanks for the thumbs up, Dack, ...is um, that a question or a comment (or both)? I guess I should have explained the process a little better. This was done in Bryce although it's all composited pieces put together in photoshop. The characters and poses were all done in Daz Studio (except Kingpin who's a Poser 4 model done in P4) and imported into Bryce. Bryce (to my knowledge) doesn't really offer any render options like sketch or cel shading so the pieces were all done as straight renders. The sketch and coloring effects were all created through a series of techniques in Photoshop 6; no special plug-ins used.
Thanks Jedi! This is my first experiment in trying to get 3D to look drawn (though I'd done some experiments with painterly effects in the past) so it's really good to hear that it actually reminds you of a certain artist!

I like this.

There is a Gold Key/Whitman/Charlton comic book artist from the early 70s (whose name escapes me), that had a hand drawn style very much like this. It's distinctive although, sometimes it didn't work for him.
But, this sure works for you.
