Been wanting to break out of my usual "D.C" groove and do a series of "Mutie" pics.  Here's the first installment!

I always hate chiming in towards after everyone else has... so... Ditto! Although until I read you art notes, I didn't realize that Scott was holding Jean. Ooops.

 Re: Classic X-Men
All this, and I'm still climbing trees for a living!!! Seriously, I'm trying to put together a series of pics (mock-covers) to send to the big companies in hopes of getting some cover-work...

Art notes: 1: As pointed out in one of the "other" sites I post at, Cyclops NEVER (at this point at least) had the brass to hold Jean like this.
2: Angels' wings need some trimming at the connection point w/ his back,
3: I took liberties w/ Icemans' look here. He is originally seen as a "snowman" w/ boots, but I figured "What, he puts on his boots, and ices up and runs around naked hoping he doesn't have to rescue anyone from a burning building?!!" So sue me...

Thanks for the props guys, you are the absolute best!!! Just wait, the next installment is half done!... -Leif.

The detail's truly amazing, I've been reading all the original x-men comics lately and this fits the mood to the Tee! Great job!

Great work as usual! The backdrop of Prof. X is a great way of incorporating him into the pic.. Great idea!

this is awesome, as always. i particularly love the Prof's eyes in the background, it gives it an old school feel for me.
