Finally:  Here's the full-color version of my drawing of Superman and Supergirl being terrorized by Kryptonite Girl.  Color is courtesy of Katrina Mae Hao.

As I mentioned when I posted the line art version some time ago, this is based on a 3D illustration posted by someone else.  I wanted to add some motion and energy to the concept, and shake off the stiffness inherent in Poser-type illustrations, and see if I could make it work.

This is the first time I've ever drawn Superman -- or Supergirl, for that matter!

What do you think?

Hugs,

-- Jinky

Hardbody --

This is the image on which I based my drawing -- entitled, appropriately enough, "Kryptonite Girl," and it's by mikemusike.

First... love the work... especially like the way she easily has Superman and Supergirl helpless... and it looks phenominal... I'd have said Super but that would be contradictory to the image ;)

Second, you mention it being inspired by a #D picture you saw on Heromorph... but I can't seem to find any such picture of a Kryptonite Girl beating up Superman except for your colored, adult, and B&W ones... could you give a link to the one that inspired this brilliant masterpiece?

Incredible job, Jinky and Katrina! It loks just like a real comic cover. I'll bet if DC had more covers like this, they'd sell out! Add me to the list of others wanting to see you draw more mainstream characters.

I agree with Krasch, this image is wonderful and it would be nice to see you do more characters like them. Maybe She-Hulk or Wonder Woman, there are so many that I could name that would look great.

I like it. Katrina's colour work is excellent. I only hope to do half as well...

You should do mainstream characters more often Jinky...
