Been wanting to do a Batgirl image for a while now. Tried some new things here. So I guess this falls somewhere in between for me. I painted all the hair into this one. Not totally satisfied with it exactly but it does the trick. I did try a new technique with the cape in the background though. Same way you would render and create a curtain from scratch in photoshop, just with quite a few pieces. What do you think? As well I chose the newer uniform style to go with as well. I do like the newer look quite a bit here than most. Took some liberties of course with the outfit, but tried to stay close. Been working on trying to re-create items better as I need them. So not sure on this one, but I am still satisfied with it. Thanks for all the comments and or critiques if you leave them, they are very much apprecaited. May be a few before I get to work on another image here, have a busy next six to eight months or so with work coming up, but wanted to get one more in. The model for this one was a 3D model from Pozer and Daz combo, found for a general search on the internet, under google for such. As well Batgirl belongs to DC of course. Artwork is my attempt here.

Holy sheet!!! This is by far your best image ever. WOW!!! I mean, WOW!

Now, with that said... the white line on her cape needs to be fixed, and this would be the perfect image! Adda boy!

 Re: Batgirl
Ditto the fine points Winterhawk made, as well as my own...like:
A) Love the cape draping across her thigh, which shows it to be razor thin, yet fully detailed and functional, like the "memory cloth" prototype used in "The Dark Knight"

B) Although I will always be partial to a redheaded BG (Miss ya already MissVee), I like how this looks with her as a blond.

C) The "new" things you tried here work well as the whole piece comes together. (although something about the lower jaw line seems a little odd...)

And D) Dude, I only wish my best work was half as good as this "somewhere in the middle" of yours!

Well done!

 Re: Batgirl
Thanks for the compliments Hawk. They are very much appreciated. Always a practice and new things to try. Just need to get better at some.

And yep Cap that's me over here in Tiger Town. Not far away at all really. Used to live up there in NCan. Over on McDowell Street 43. Amazing who you will run into really. So its not too far! I sent you a PM about the wide screen. I have a format for anyone who would like it, just have to let me know. Slight shift in character and such but its for that format. Always glad to help anyone I can with anything works related!

As well what Wonder Woman are you refereing too. I save the PSD files for a while but not forever may still have that one to work with if you wish. Eventually because of space they have to go away. 2 TB is all I have right now for keeping items. Fortunatley this one was only 750 MB between PSDs and all. :)

 Re: Batgirl
LoL That would be cool, W. My screen resolution is 1920x1080. It doesn't have to adverse of an affect of how your images look, including this one, but there is one Wonder Woman image that you did that made her end up looking like the Snooki as Wonder Woman image because of how stretched it was. LOL

Cap sorry about it not being to size for your monitor. If you let me know what size you would to have and would be good, I could scale down and send one over to you.

 Re: Batgirl
Fantastic. I really really like this.
The hair works in this image because you used a 3d base model rather then a photo so it's slightly unreal qualities actually lend themselves to the image creating a great whole.
Fantastic manip skill particularly in the chest area. I would say that section from the neck to the belly button is as perfect a manip as can be done. The rest is beyond excellent as well. Great work

 Re: Batgirl
As always, a fantastic piece. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit the resolution of my screen.
