think i'll go back and add a transparent screen to it....it was one of those things i did debate on, and it would just overlay on the BG so that would work.

ironically the shine on the upper part of the cowl was a lot brighter, but i felt it was too bright and the way it looked, it kinda looked like a bullseye. i'll touch it up, i did dull it too much.

All I can say about this piece is that when I first glanced at it I thought "Who posted the back cover of the dvd case?" So there's your compliment.

Damn! That is a hellova comeback, Dan! Looks like someone is about to get a strong talking to... or possibly get their head kicked in. Awesome work on his cowl, glove and face. That batarang looks awesome too. Excellent work.

Critique: there isn't really anything particularly wrong with this that I can see. I'd blend in the lips a bit more, soften the edges... they stick out a tad as is. Maybe also add some brighter highlights to the top of his cowl to match the ones around his eyes/cheeks and glove. Er... Maybe do something to the background to make it look more like a computer monitor? But I'm really just throwing out ideas at this point... what you've done works just fine. Fine work.
