So I’m sittin’ at home the other day, watching the old 1966 Batman on TV, and I think to myself, I love these campy old villains you never see or hear from again.

Love it! I agree with Star on all counts but particularly that these batdorks are considerably more appealing after after a little gendbend. Terrific work on textures, props and characters. Excellent!!

well as far as lame may go..the male versions of these fill the bill abundantly..however had they appeared like this I'm sure every fanboy around would have clamored for their return.
On a presentation note; as simple [and i use the word lightly considering the effort you put into this] as this layout is..its very stunning and well done. the floor reflections and the comic boxes and books take this to a great level.
Oh. ..and it does help that the girls are all sexy as hell. excellent modeling on the costumes too.

Re: Batman's Lamest Foes: part 1
I decided to do a pic with some of the more obscure villains in Batman’s career. Not all together unheard of, and a couple have even gone on to bigger and better things. But I compiled a group of some of the “c” list villains. Then, to add another twist, I decided to make it a Gender Bender piece, in which the villainesses get out their old comic collections to find their favorite issues, most likely the ones in which their original versions appeared.
That being said, here are 11 of Bat’s lamest foes: (Some of the names have been changed to reflect the new gender)
(Back Row)
1. Dr. Mrs. Double X (Detective Comics #261, 1958)
2. Crazy Quilt (Boy Commandos #15, 1946)
3. Lucky Starrla (World’s Finest #32, 1947)
4. Paula Gregorian (Detective Comics #72, 1942)
5. Penny Plunderer (World’s Finest Comics #30, 1947)
(Middle Row)
6. The Condiment Queen (First appearance TV: Batman the Animated Series #87, 1994; Comics: Birds of Prey #37, 2002)
7. Clue Mistress (Detective Comics #351, 1966)
(Front Row)
8. The Ten Eyed Woman (Batman #226, 1970)
9. Pi-Meson Woman (World’s Finest Comics #262, 1980 )
10. Mrs. Polka Dot A.K.A. Polka Dot Woman (Detective Comics #300, 1962) and
11. Calendar Woman (Detective Comics #259, 1958)
And some interesting commonalities:
Lucky Starr “the man who could not die” and Paul Gregorian “the man with nine lives” both believed they could cheat death for a specific amount of time.
Lucky saw a future newspaper article of his death to come on 12/13/1947.
The Penny Plunderer is the origin of the big penny in the Batcave, dated 1947.
Cluemaster is Arthur Brown…father of Stephanie, who has been in the Batcave and seen that penny.
The Ten Eyed Man and Crazy Quilt couldn’t see the penny if they were in the cave, as both were blind. But each then gained odd seeing abilities through experimental surgery.
The Pi-Meson Man, who also gained his abilities by accidental science, was defeated by means of a blind girl who was able to see him in his invisible energy form. Dr. Double X, by means of deliberate science, could similarly create a duplicate energy self.
The Polka Dot Man’s costume is loosely based on the old Wonder Bread design, and obviously, the Condiment King has his own food based origins…but it’s too big a stretch to include “pie”-meson man in that company.
I liked this so much, I think I’ll do some more…
Credits:
All are V6, with Smay’s super hero suits (DAZ). Except Penny, wearing Neat Pleats (DAZ), and Quilty wearing DJ Remixed (DAZ). A supersuit cape, a wicked red cape, and a caped rogue cape are there, too.
Textures for all outfits, Quilty’s helmet prop, and several belt props by me.
