Moonshadow has returned to her father's side to use his resources to discover more about Nechronos. In the meantime I am investigating the disappearance of an entire ship's crew from a Sathari freighter which was carrying medical supplies. There no trace of anyone but as I step into the bridge of the small craft I hear the slightest sound, and I can feel someone watching me. I turn quickly top discover...to my surprise...an old adversary.
"Obsidian heheheh, you're looking well" he says slyly, "I did not expect to encounter you all the way out here in Sathari space. Whatever are you doing here?"Lol
Razor was once a member of the same Oni ninja clan that trained me...until he went rogue and decided to go freelance. We sparred a, lot and I was never able to beat him instead suffering multiple defeats at his hands...one of which nearly got me killed. He will not underestimate me as others have.
"Razor, did you not hear? I am Lord high justiciar of the Sathari empire. I would've thought you'd be up on that. Sloppy, not doing your research, master Takashi would be disappointed. Is this your handiwork brother?"
"You don't get to call me that, not ever! You cost me everything!"
"Actually I believe master Takashi said you cost yourself. What did he say? Ah yes "for me talking a life is a burden but for you taking a life is less than air."
"Hah, yes, that was just below I killed him. To think he was going to make you, an outsider a Jonin. Apponted as his second in command yet...never! Now I can never return to my clan."
"That reminds me, you know they want you dead right?"
"Let me guess they sent you to kill me?"
"No but I'll gladly take the job."
He draws his blade, my optics reveal it as class 4 Mythril, meaning enchanted and nearly as strong as infinitium...nearly but not quite. My golden sword shimmers in the darkness, my scanners detect...acid...dropping from his sword...Damn...that is probably one of only 3 things my armor is vulnerable to. Acid, slashing weapons and cold. He had done his homework. This fight is going to be bloody. |
