Glad you liked it, Pij! I was intrigued by all your requests (I'd love to tackle Promethea one day...), but this image just popped fully formed into my head -- pose, expression, and all -- and I knew what I had to do. Sonja's an awesome character (all her books at Dynamite Comics have been wonderful), but I don't think I'd have thought to do an image of of her on my own. So I'm gratefully for the opportunity to do so! It was fun to work on, too; I never tried to figure out scars or wounds before!

Dang, B! I am blown away!! This is just so completely and utterly amazing! It's a great scene, love the whole depth of the forest enhanced by focal distance bu Sonja, OMG... you really have outdone yourself here! I could not have pictured a better version! The details are amazing on her costume and the intricacy of design is fascinating but the most captivating part is the incredible sense of character you've given her! I love the battle wounds of varying ages, an old scar, a recent wound and a fresh one. I love that expression, both gleeful and grim and that "come on, bring it!" pose as shows off her bloody sword. There's a real sense of a character who thrives from the battle here. Absolutely brilliant! Thanks so much for this outstanding piece!!

WOW!

It's always a pleasure to see a new image from you...
but this time you really pushed the limits: the composition of the scene, the pose, the beautiful gurl, the... the... there are so many great things in this image I lack the words so I just say:
Fantabulosome work!
