Does anyone have any good tips on how to make cloths not look "painted" on? Thats been one of my biggest problems.

Yes, like he said, better edges. A thin line to separate the cloth area from the skin. Adding an edge seam (a thin line drawn next to the edge of the cloth) works. This simulates real clothing. And the addition of a texture to the cloth area, and the famous "shadow separation" that the tutorials mention always helps.

Of course, dipping a cute model in latex works too.

Work on your edges. I use the path tool to create edges. A nice crisp edge would have helped this a lot. Nice image though.
