This is a quantum leap, Billy! You are really coming along.
I don't have a problem with the displacement, and I _really_ don't have a problem with the nipple (although Optical might ).

The suit itself, though, has that "painted on" look, and I think the reason for this is that you have not seperated the body from the background. If you had copied the base layer and erased the background, then painted the costume on a layer beneath that layer, her braids would look seperate from the suit, as well as the knee from the elbow.

Trust me, once you start seperating the body from the background, you'll never go back.

nice try billy. the illusion of costume disappears however just around her chest where the pigtails fall,I feel the edge is just too sharp. You could also have added a little highlight to her eyes, they seem kinda flat.


anyone else think this base could make a great 'young' Valkyrie?

nit pick. the nipple shows through and doesn't have a shadow, so either you didn't mean for it to show through or you forgot the shadow/wringle
