Yeah, I've taken all the advice and criticism that I've gotten from all of you to heart; especially the bit about not being impatient and eager to post. I decided to start taking a perfectionist approach to all my projects, to the point that I'll even throw out entire layers if they're not working out right. I've also decided to take the advice I got about using multiple projects to split my attention. I find that when I go back to something I started earlier, I can look at it from a different perspective than if I just sped through it the first time around. For instance, I've got a Rogue, a She-Hulk, and an Arnold based Colossus in the works.

Much better job with the "dodge and burn" in this pic. You could loose the burn on the butt (too intense), however that is a small critique. I wish my third effort had shown this much progress.

the boots are ok, perhaps you could play a little with the saturation. And try some wrinkles
I aint a boot's expert, perhaps someone else can help u more there.
About the hair, its fine, but it doesnt seem to be there, maybe it needs more lights
