Born in a small poor village In India, Shanti, ran away to find her place in the world. Lost in the rain forests of Northern India, the young girl found herself cornered by a Tiger. Fearing for her life the young girl cried out in prayer to the Mother Goddess.

Her prayers were answered when the Tiger instead of pouncing, reclined and began to speak to her. The Tigress revealed herself to be the Goddess Devi and empowered the girl from each of her incarnations, Durga (Invincibility), Kali (the ability to speed and slow time), Saraswati (great knowledge and wisdom),Sri Lakshmi (great beauty), and Parvati (the ability to sense lies).

Thus empowered, the girl, was given the name RAJAKUMARI PADMA, Princess Lotus. Her mission to ease the suffering of the subcontinent's poor and mete out justice to wrong doers.

Notes: The update is not so much a redo as a clean up. The image is much sharper with cleaner line all around. The uniform remains much the same in form but mostly redrawn and textured.. The background, I feel. conveys a better overall mood.

I like this version a lot. Not just for the improvement in your technique, but also for the set up and configuration of the piece as a whole. I like this sword better, but I don't know why I seem to like the placement in the original...I'm not sure. I can't explain it. The alterations you have made are great, and placing her in this scene does indeed invite the viewer into the story. Nice work. As I said, I like it a lot.
