Ultra nice work here. This is probally more metal than I'd be willing to mess with at one time but I admire your heart for even attempting this. I do agree however with B and DarkWanderer about certain aspects of this pic. My own comment is again that you don't need to use the satin filter or the peven the styles buttons for your metals. Your freehand stuff is better than anything they could come up with.

Nice! I like it. You've become a damn fine artist, Billy. Here, have a pint: I really like the metal work here, it looks very good... except on the horns on her tiara thingy, which look weird. The lighting is very strange there, the highlights and shadows should really match the way you did them on the spikes on her arms. Also, the sword could use a bit more contrast, with darker shadows and brighter highlights. Just slightly.

The other thing I'd mention is that the metal, especially on the arms (which look great otherwise, awesome work) needs shadows around the edges to create an illusion of depth. The shading gives a good impression of shape, but the lighting is the same everywhere, which makes it lack depth. Take a look at the second half of dperceful's Metal and lighting theory tutorial at C2F to see what I'm talking about.

I remember that one. Thought it was pretty good and wondered why no one did her on here before.

 Re: cybernary
nice work Billy, though i see a few things that get me as a little off, mostly just personal taste of mine.

the horn that is on her right ( our left) the segment rings of the horn make it look like it is floating on the ear ring sort of like the edges were cut to show the ear ring behind it ( make since?)

A few extra shadows like from the earrings on the left ( her right), arms, and sword. just a touch of an under shadow on the loin cloth's right ( her left)

maybe round out the bra and sword hilt a little more?

and the sword blade does not seem to follow the same metalic flow of the arms and it has a slight outline look to it? again it is just personal tast of mine, and stuff you may want to just play around with. still great work

Not too shabby Billy... Some real amazing metal work on this one. I have liked this character from the moment I saw her and you have brought her to life.
