Here is my attempt at coloring Psylocke. My idea is that when she's using the psychic knife, her body gives off a very subtle glow while the knife becomes a light source.

Thank you all for the great comments. Photoshop is getting easier the more I use it. I hope it will make the next one easier. Right now blur and smudge are my favorite tools. I'd like to learn how to replace the line drawing with a painted version instead of just overlaying it. Any hints?

I thought about coloring this but the character never really interested me that much, but you did a good job.

So maybe she's like an Aes Sedai, who is surrounded by a glow when channeling.

The psychic knife came with the asian body and new costume. Betsy's mind was transfered into the body of an assassin and her butterfly effect was replaced with the knife as the focus of her psychic ability.

Nice work.

In the comics she used to have the butterfly mask that glowed around her head - Did they phase that out over time? I haven't read X-Men in forever.
