Tora is an 18-year-old girl who becomes a ninja after losing her family in an accidental fire in her hometown of Osaka, Japan. She is one of the lesbian characters I created for the Lady Comic Slash Site. Picture was made using the HeroMachine software program.

Ninja Gamma rays! That's a good one! I like that!

To answer your question, she was 11 when the fire occurred and was left walking the streets and the countryside when she was taken in by Sensei Kenji Hayata and the students of his ninja school. She lived and trained there for 7 years.

The school is located in the countryside near the Japanese town of Gotemba City, not far from where BOAC Flight 911 crashed 41 years ago, although you won't find any reference to this accident in the file I made for her at my site.

In case anyone's interested, Tora is the Japanese word for "tiger." Her real name is Natsumi Takahashi.

I thought it took years of training to become a ninja. Someone had to be training her from the time she was a little girl. You can't just suddenly become a ninja, can you?
