This is to illustrate how 'The Christian's hammer works. Its mystical properties allow it to pass harmlessly through living things but impact upon spiritual beings. In this shot, we see our hero literally knocking the demon out of this guy which is how he usually deals with criminals. We also see an indication of 'The Christian's invulnerability as the crook's bullet bounces off his chest. He does feel the pain of the impact it just won't pierce his skin or break bones. He's also able to see spiritual presences. I don't know if this is due to the goggles he wears or an additional power.

hehe, anyone remember that spoof "Hebrew Hammer"?

this sorta reminded me of that when he said "Christian's Hammer"
