This is Joe Linsner's Dawn. I did this for my mother for Christmas. I drew it originally with a blue sharpie and it looked horrible, even after I scanned it with all kinds of pencil outlines and mistakes, but thank god for Photoshop.... I'm really proud of this and I hope mom will like it.

Very cool! Wish my mom was as into comics as yours. She and my step-dad actually liked the Punisher movie until they learned it was based on a comic.
