But who are they, and why are they here?

Because the first ever episode of Dr Who was broadcast 43 years ago today (23rd November 2006). Nothing special about the number 43, so being perverse I decided to mark the occasion.

First season of the Christopher Eccleston ' Doctor's is out on dvd...and well worth getting, too!

BTW...triva note: the grandson of Patrick Troughtn, Doctor #2, is playing the part of Harry Potter's cousin in the movies. That's straight form the WB website.
