| MAGNETO-- X-Men Ultra Series Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/2/8 3:15 2359 4
I decided to finally do a Magneto manip. I really wanted to go with a high-flying base for it, but this "static" pose worked pretty well. Any guess who the base is? I'm sure some of you know. ENJOY!! |
| Magneto- "Full Force" Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/3/17 19:05 2366 4
Magneto unleashes his fury!
This was a very simple manip to do. In searching through Google, I found this base pic of a man screaming, holding his hands up at the camera. The only addition I made was the helmet, because the suit the guy is wearing, is very movie-like. i added the background, and a little effect, and there ya go. More to come... Enjoy!!! |
| The Amazing Spider-Man Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2007/2/27 21:11 2548 4
This was a pain. Why do I subject myself and all my sanity on doing these damn webs? Because I love to see the finished product. I hope you all like this one. |
| Ultimate Spiderman- (Black Costume) Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/3/8 1:16 2698 3
This looks pretty cool. I had a harder time finding a background than doing the whole pic. I found a base where the model had this killer pose, and I just had to use it. Spidey is perched high above the city, on top of a building ledge, ready for action! Enjoy!!! |
| Colossus--X-Men Ultra Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/5/25 20:41 2698 7
This is my version of Colossus for my X-Men Ultra series. This is the actual actor from X2. I found a publicity shot in high res, and couldnt resist. Enjoy!!! |
| March Challenge-- "SHI"-starring LUCY LIU Jedifan227 Other Comics 2005/3/21 22:25 2713 4
I brainstormed for a week on what to do for my first challenge entry. There are so many good stories to be told on film. This would be a killer movie if done correctly. I could easily see alot of Kill Bill meets Crouching Tiger fight scenes, as well as alot of Lucy just looking damn good in the suits. Here it is, Lucy Liu as SHI!! Enjoy!!!!! |
| Superman Flying Around Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/1/7 18:47 2741 3
Its been a while since I posted anything, and I just did this simple piece to get back into the swing of things. Enjoy! |
| Iron Spider-Man Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2007/6/9 13:34 2741 4
I just had to try this out to see how it would look. I think it looks great. I plan to do a couple more of this suit, just to see what I can do. |
| Superman--"Up and Away" Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/2/7 17:37 2769 4
I am in the process of trying to fix my image quality problems. I adjusted a few things, and I am pretty much just using this as a test. Here goes... |
| Gambit Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/4/4 0:40 2773 0
I found this base pic and it was perfect!!! I have been lookin for this for a while now. Enjoy! |
| Spidey vs. Carnage! Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/5/5 16:30 2776 4
I decided to try a comic cover, and this was it. Enjoy!! |
| Spiderman (Black Costume) Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/11/5 22:50 2794 4
I wanted to do this for awhile now. It was fairly easy to do. I used a texture filter on top of a highlight, then added another highlight over that, to keep it looking real. The spider emblem was just cut and paste. Trying to do one from scratch was aggravating to say the least. But I like this emblem better, because it doesnt go all around his torso. I always hated that part of the design. I hope you like it. ENJOY!! |
| Bizarro!!! Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/5/26 20:58 2798 2
This is my first attempt at Bizarro. I used Batista as the model, because I just loved this expression. I dulled the color scheme, and gave it a scary tone to enhance the pic. Enjoy!!! |
| Spidergirl Crawling Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2006/5/6 11:27 2803 4
This is one I have had shelved for a while. I was going to post this a while back, but the site was having its usual glitches. HAHA. Anyway, I believe this is the best Spidergirl pic I have done. It was very difficult to do, but after several retouches, and lots of looking at it, I decided to post it. I hope you guys like it. I worked pretty hard(more than usual). Comments always welcome. |
| Green Lantern Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/4/15 22:06 2820 5
This is my first stand-alone version of GL. This was by far the biggest pic I have ever done, and one of the most difficult. I worked on this one very hard, so please be gentle. HA! Enjoy!!!! |
| Shazam! Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/5/6 19:00 2830 4
This is my first attempt at Shazam. I used to watch the old TV in the late 70's, and loved it. It's old and corny now, but then it was right up there with Hulk and Spiderman. Enjoy!!!! |
| Spiderman (Black Costume 2) Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/11/6 1:20 2836 3
Here is another shot of Spidey in black. Enjoy! |
| The New Flash Jedifan227 DC Comics 2006/10/13 11:04 2853 5
This is a female version of the Flash. I just did this as a quickie. Enjoy! |
| Spiderman Vs. Green Goblin (RIVALS) Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2006/5/22 12:08 2862 9
This is my latest piece. I tried my best to capture the action of this famous rivalry. I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out. There is a larger version available, just email me if you want it. The original was too big to post. As always comments are welcome. |
| Superman Patriotic WTC Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/4/20 22:15 2873 6
Superman flies high above NYC to place an American Flag atop the newly constructed WTC building. In a brillant display of emotion, Superman carries a flag, retrived and restored from the original Twin Towers, and proudly takes it to its perch above the city. The crowds cheer as their hero marks a new day for America.
This was a rather hard one to do, but I think it came out alright. The base was small, and I really had to stretch my limits to get the result I wanted. I came up with the theme, simply from the pose. I thought to myself that this would be a very emotional picture. It is inspiring, even without seeing the new towers themselves. God Bless America!! Enjoy!!!! |
| The Greatest American Hero Jedifan227 TV and Movies 2005/6/16 0:21 2897 9
Come on, you know you would go see this movie!! "Believe it or not, I'm walkin' on air...." I think Spade would be killer in this role. Enjoy!! |
| Spidergirl2 Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/7/1 22:37 2919 4
Ok, I have decided to do another Spider-chick, lol...but drawing web-lines with a mouse sucks!!! Anyway, I spent alot of time on this one, and I am pleased. I hope you morphers out there like it too. ENJOY! |
| Mr.Sinister Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/2/24 2:47 2939 6
I finally did one of old Sin. I was bumbling around Google, and found a pic of Willem Dafoe, and I immediately started this project. It only took about 3 hours, from start to finish. I think it looks killer. I had to create the entire chest from scratch. This is my last one for the week. Enjoy!!!! |
| Robin- *REPOST* Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/2/7 22:41 2955 4
I had to fix a blunder. I accidentally left one shoulder red, when it should have been green. OOPS! |
| Spiderman Goes to Work Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2007/12/6 19:28 2976 5
I havent posted anything for a while now, and this was just me trying to get something in.HAHA.
I found this awesome base pic on a Russian site, and the background from Google. After some tricks and alot of patience, here ya go. Peter always seemed to find a nice dark alley to change in before going on patrol, and this pic is very faithful to the comic version of Spidey. There are no raised webs, or fancy schmancy textures, just old-fashioned Spiderman, in his essence. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays! |
| Silver Banshee Jedifan227 DC Comics 2005/5/22 20:41 3029 5
This is my first attempt at SB. I read the forum, and saw her name come up a few times in the Obscure list, so I figured I would give her a try. The model is Victoria Silvstedt, but you really cant tell. This one was fun. I really liked the costume of this character. Seeing it come to life layer after layer made me wonder why she wasnt featured more on this site. ENJOY!!! |
| Wolverine- "Wastelands" Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2005/3/22 22:14 3044 6
Okay, so I cheated. This is really a statue that I saw on Google, and if I can ever buy it I will. This is Wolverine, in his native Canadian setting. The statue just screamed for a background scene, so I gave it one. I added the snow, and that was it. This pic basically just manipped itself. I think that it has a very gritty, very graphic-novel style to it. It is now my absolute favorite piece of art, so I just had to show it off. ENJOY!!!!!!! |
| Spawn- "Agent of Darkness" Jedifan227 Other Comics 2005/3/18 22:38 3108 7
This is my very first Spawn manip. I wasnt sure how it would turn out, but I gotta say, this is one of my personal best. The whole project took about 4 hours, from start to finish. I was racing like a madman to see it completed! I recently watched the movie not too long ago, after a few years of not seeing it. I was blown away all over again, like it was the first time. Spawn has always been a favorite, and I thought it was time he made his way into my portfolio. The cape was probably the hardest, but after it was finished, I was amazed at how well it turned out. I really hope you guys like a slight change of pace. ENJOY!!!! |
| Spidergirl over New York Jedifan227 Marvel Comics 2004/8/13 1:33 3135 5
I spent alot of time on this one. I used a very large base pic for both the city and the model. After some serious tweaking, I got it to blend about as good as I could get it. I spent the majority of the time on the model herself. The rest of the time was getting all the hues to blend. I really am please with the way this one turned out. ENJOY!! |
