I started with the blindfold and worked my way down. I was more practiced by the time I got down to the leg sash, which came out damn near perfect. (The original model was only wearing the fishnets and the robe or whatever around her waist.) |

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do the cape and I'm not completely happy with the metallic silver parts. I went with option C: "character in any strange or unusual circumstance". I intend on finishing the cape and will post when I have it done.

My first experiment with photomanipulations using Poser. The original figures were bare nekkid and rendered in Poser 5.
Kyle: Head is a combination of the poser head and a screen cap of Kerr Smith in Final Destination. The hair is from a photo of Kerr from his website. The ring is from the cover to Green Lantern: Fear Itself. Everything else is me & Photoshop.
Ganthet: Figure completely done in poser using a child model that I turned blue, cut off at the knees, and gave hair. The robe was completely done using the same technique I used in the Batlektra photomanip. He lost some definition and detail when I blurred him into the background. I can post him seperately if anyone's interested. |

This was originally my half of my teamup with QuantumFX, but when the original was posted, it was only half the size and some details got covered up by other parts of the pic. I added a background and swapped out the head. |

| I started messing around with this one out of boredom, and because people had posted both the source pic and the costume reference on the site. I was going to see how quickly I could complete a decent photomanip. The costume took about 45 minutes. Then the cape started to drive me up the freaking wall. I think I spent twice as much time on it than the rest of the piece. It's a bunch of chopped up pieces from other pictures. The shoulders were the hard part. I had to filter and liquify them into the right shape. Since the model is blonde, I made her Powergirl instead of Lois Lane. |
