When I was in High school, I remember picking up a mini-series by Marvel comics called "WOLVERINE" written and illustrated by Frank Miller aand I always thought he was one of the coolest characters and also one of Marvel's most tormented . . . . what a great book! If they do the Wolverine movie (and I hear they are) I hope they follow the story line from that series, IT HAD IT ALL! . . . He fought ninjas, grizzly bears, there was the love he had for a japanese woman who's father wouldn't allow it and tries to kill him, while another woman who loved him was an assassin trying to kill him too! Well at any rate this was the costume he wore in that series, iI always liked this one better than the Blue & yellow one. . . .

I did this piece for a very special person for Christmas '06, I wanted it to compliment the Elektra I originally did that started this whole series of colored pencil pieces. . . . I've always liked Daredevil as a character, he's gotta be one of the koolest ones out there . . .And I had a GREAT time bringin' "The man without fear" to life!

I did an earlier version of Kroenen in colored pencils that was much more realistic, this one I wanted to capture his look as seen in the comics more and wanted to use as little detail as possible in my graff/toon style . . . This has got to be one of my all time favorite villains!

| Okay now I'm a HUGE fan of NORSE MYTHOLOGY and in all the reading I've done they ALWAYS describe Thor as having red hair and a beard . . . so I wanted to incorporate the qualities from the mythology books with some of the aspects of the comic book, I never really liked the costume Marvel came up with but i kept some of the key elements and gave them a more VIKING feel to them. . .hope you like my twist on the character, I'm happy with the outcome |

In the most secret of meetings though, very few knew of Hitler striking deals with extra terrestrials, until this day many still are unaware of the machinations of The Red Skrull who's inhuman activities were legendary in many of the concentrations camps . . . . he was also instrumental in helping Hitler overthrow so many countries by getting close to head figures, killing them and then with his shape changing abilities assuming their roles without anyone knowing. |

So i only got around to doin' Lobster Johnson. . . hopefully I'll get around to the others! |
