| I originally did this commission on a paper bag with 1 colored pencil and a Sharpie? . . . people kept tellin' me "you should make it look like a wanted poster" so I took it into photoshop and added the text . . . . I like how the extra stuff came out. |

Wooohoo, I still remember how to draw. It's not the worlds most ambitious picture, but I think it came out nice looking.
I drew this as part of a prize for an on-line contest I held on an Avengers message board. I simply didn't have the time to ink it, but I think the pencil version looks good. I wish I hadn't run out of paper, I would have liked to have put more work into the phoenix behind phoenix. |

Well I did a Wolverine head sketch for a client earlier, when he saw it he liked it so much that he decided he wanted a full body, so here's the marker commission I did of the ol' Canucklehead! Hope ya like! . . . The markers look a THOUSAND times better in person, scans never do them justice. . . . This was done on Bristol by the way . . . I wanted to do the character the way he SHOULD look, short and stocky (he's only 5' 3") I also streamlined his "fins" on his head and boots (better for fighting I think) I also just wanted to do a pose of him just doin' every day things like lighting a stogie, instead of the usual "comin' at ya with claws extended" that everyone does . . .

Well VL was asking if I was gonna color this so I went ahead and did it. My eyes were going crossed with the webbing and the texture but I'm glad i did it.. background done in similar fashion to my recent batman pic.

| Back in the 1990's, Captain America lost his powers and had 1 of his 2 best friends, Iron Man, make him a suit of armor. This is my rendition of that armor. I have him side-by-side with his energy shield (which he didn't receive until the late 1990's when his shield was lost in the ocean, after he regained his powers and threw away his armor). |

The fourth image in my Light in the Shadows series, this one actually came after a specific request sparked the idea. Gambit, unlike the three previous entries in this collection, is by no means a hero. Where Phoenix, Storm and Nightcrawler are lit, picked out of the shadows by their own ability, Remy's light is little more than a candle's glow.
What better way to depict a character so enigmatic as the cajun thief, always suspected (and sometimes confirmed) as the traitor?
