Well now that we're back up-and-running around here, (Big props to Winterhawk and all who helped!) I promised someone a Hawkgirl pic.
The wings were made from a single scratch built feather multiplied over and over and... you get the idea. In adition to the body, the shield and spear (actually a trimmed down trident) were done in poser. Peace! -Leif. |

Well, this took almost three days work, but I think it was worth it. The scale-mail armor was a pain! I couldn't find any textures I liked, so I ended up making my own from scratch! I think it looks pretty cool, event though there is a heck of a lot of detail that is lost when I reduced it. I guess we can all see why she is called "BIG" Barda!  Peace! -Leif. |

Well, I think I made some progress in my artwork this weekend. This is the first in a series of pin-up style images I plan to do. (Not really the "first", 'cause it was inspired by my Harlequinn pic) I'm focusing on DC heroines for now. Any suggestions? Thanks to all the great artists here who I have learned from, and am inspired by constantly! Peace! -Leif.
