| Washington DC [later]- Although they held the superior numbers Thunderbolt Allison and his valiant team of S.T.A.R.S were no match for the pure destructive powers of the Kumitae-KR1. Minutes later he had downed the entire S.A.S [STARS Attack Squadron] and had now turned his full attention to Thunderbolt and his Super Agents, Thunderkick & Sheba. However the C.L.A.W High Council, seeing that their Assassin Wars were about to become a moot point, sent in their own ringer...Cybernaut-X. The irony of this all is that the Kumitae-KR1 was specially built by the Weaponers to replace the original Cybernaut when the High Council became dissatisfied with his performance. Andy didn't care, and for the first time in his life he was happy to see a C.L.A.W Termination Unit! |

| In perhaps the most unlikely turn of events in the Assassin Wars so far..in the midst of Bloodbath's bout with Talon, who should appear but...Demondark. The loyal minion of Ramma, the sorceror and overlord of the mystical realm Pangea. Demondark is the sworn enemy of Bloodbath and was created by Ramma with one purpose...to kill the undead servant of Baron Gorath. So it is a shock that when he enters the fray he attacks...Talon? Its not that Demondark wants to aid his rival but he feels that only he has the right to kill Bloodbath, who himself can only wonder..should he help, attack from the back or hope they kill each other. |

Perhaps after watching Cutter painstakingly take out his own sister Edge, he has become the sentimental favorite. Vengeance has never been known as a physical fighter, more of a schemer. Right now he has 5 million reasons to put Cutter out of his misery but if Cutter has anything to say about it, by night's end there will be one more corpse added to CLAW's Tomb Room. |

Although he and Copperhead were both employed by C.L.A.W. they were by no means friends or even teammates for that matter. Grenade had never seen Copperhead in action but knew full well of his deadly prowess and reputation. His night-vision goggles and familiarity with the sub-level corridors of Switchblade's Blade Base should give him an advantage...but he'll soon discover that just like his namesake..Peter M'Wambi is a coldblooded hunter. |

| Pantanal, Brazil - Talon was so enthralled about his first round victory over Badger, the assassin he himself had been created to mimic, that any kill he made after would pale by comparison. He wasn't sure how much he believed that Bloodbath was an actual vampire or if he even cared...he knew he could kill him. To Bloodbath, this snarling beast that swayed before him in the swamp was just another animal he needed to put down, like he had done to so many lycans centuries ago. The two combatants are so caught up in each other that they fail to notice the viewer in the shadows of the trees. Now the question is...is he here to help one of them or waiting on the winner? |

| Prague, Czech Republic - For the slimmest of minutes Black Orchid thought she caught a break in the Assassin Wars. After the Snapdragons had forcefully pulled Redrum Rose from the competition in the first round she had won by default. Since all the other survivors of Round One were already paired up..as the seventh qualifier she stood as the odd man out. Second round bye..right? Not if the High Council has anything to say about it. They called in a marker from the Bratva [Russian Maffia] who in turn loaned out their specialist...Molotov. Although more of a cleaner than assassin..he should prove to be a good test for Orchid who suddenly has a brand new understanding of the term "Cocktails for Two". |

| Nassau, Bahamas - Peter M'Wambi [Copperhead] never cared about rankings or body counts. He had heard many CLAW Talons debate about who was the greater assassin..Grenade or Talon. He didn't even care about the $5 Million prize, he'd offer to do the job for free. He had been killing people since he was a child and if he kept count it would range into thousands. He had heard of Black Orchid but didn't care. She was just another target that he would put down quickly. It doesn't even bother him that being a stealth fighter, a contest in the open space of a beach takes away his advantage. He knows all he needs is one touch. |

| Castle Necrom, Transylvania - Up until now Cutter had been lucky in his matchups. He easily out muscled Edge in round 1, and Venegeance could not match his skill level in round 2. Oh, and they both were human! Now for the first time he faces a foe with powers...powers of the undead yet! Cutter knew his only chance was to strike before his foe awoke..so he quickly flew to Bloodbath's crypt to catch the creature unawares. Too bad he didn't count for the time difference in Europe. He knows he's late and really begins to worry when he opens the crypt and finds it empty. Or is it? Seems like he forgot about a vampire's ability to turn to mist. Can anyone say sneak attack fail? |

Both combatants know they should not be here, but the thought of such a large prize gets the better of them. The last thing Golden Arrow should be doing is competing on a televised event while in hiding from the Birdwoman and Vengeance knows he has no business exposing himself to C.L.A.W. especially after stealing the Kumitae [Karate Robot]from them. Evenso they now find themselves on Vengeance's own Skull Island waging war in his personal room of mirrors. Does the distortion factor of the room give Vengeance an advantage? Perhaps, if he had taken in account Golden Arrow's unique alien eyesight. |

| The battle raged on for hours with neither warrior seeming to gain an advantage. Then Orchid's overwhelming experience came into play and Rose was down. She moved in for the killing blow and suddenly two puffs of ninja smoke appeared before her. Orchid had no idea who the two well armed females were but Rose did. They were her sisters Lotus Sting & Dandelion and they were not happy. Orchid looked at Rose but saw fear in her face. Could it be that the Snapdragons were not here to aid their sibling but rather to punish her for defying their father...But then we already know don't we? |

So much in fact that Rose has defied not only the code of the Brotherhood of Shakti but also her own adopted father, Lord Kento in competing. Orchid doesn't care why Rose wants her head but this is finally her chance to show the brash upstart who is truly the queen of assassins. Well, at least that was the plan. |

| CLAW Base #16, Sewer Systems - Ever the masters of manipulation, the CLAW High Council has orchestrated perhaps the most intriguing match-up of the Assassin Wars so far. Not only are Cutter & Edge evenly matched, but they are also siblings. When they saw that they were to be pitted against each other rather than fight they chose to withdraw during the night. They didn't take into account the Council's determined desire to create marquee contests and unwillingness to release them from the entrant certificate they signed. Their plan to slip out through the sewer system was a stroke of genius..at least it was until the council dispatched 2 Militron units to retrieve them. The question now is blood thicker than bloody water. |

| Madagascar, Africa - The C.L.A.W High Council has been calculating in picking the first round match-ups. It's thier intention to present the most evenly matched contests possible. This one is perhaps more evenly matched than they planned. Both Copperhead and Blue Krait are top-notch assassins with a similar method of killing..snake venom. While Copperhead has his poison secreting mutant touch, Blue Krait has employed his scientific knowledge to recreate his own version of a snake bite. The two have been battling for hours with neither side gaining and advantage. While Blue Kraits full body armor protects him from Copperhead's deadly touch, his poison darts have no effect on his opponent's antitoxin producing blood. So who does the home field advantage belong to? I'd say the burly hided unstoppable force charging at them from behind! |

| Castle Necrom {graveyard}, Transylvania - Perhaps the first real mismatch of the Assassin Wars so far. The psychotic Buzzsaw thought he had pulled an easy play. Although he had never heard of Bloodbath, he had to laugh when he was told he was pitted against a real vampire. He was so sure of his success that even though he had choice of venue by having the most kills..he defered to his opponent. 20 hours later the airplane dropped him off in a remote graveyard deep in the heart of Romania..and Buzzsaw began to question his choice. He may really regret it once he finds out that Bloodbath's natural powers double in his homeland. |

Miramax,Canada and the inevitable battle. New wave vs old school, young upstart vs experienced veteran, steel & cybernetics vs sinew & bone. The two antagonists had never met before and had nothing in common save for their unique abilities and the $5 million dollar contract each sought as a prize. The CLAW High Council saw this as a match of destiny. They had once petitioned Badger for membership but he declined so Talon was created to fill the void. Now the crisp ice covered mountains echo with the sounds of snarls and rending flesh as blood turns the snow red. Who will advance to the next round? That would be telling.  |
