Same as the last pic except colorized and logoized. |

My superteam. I know the sword looks horrible. I was trying to ink with a brush pen. |

Here are the inks of the previous pic. Anyone interested in coloring it? |

| Guardian Angel VagabondX Original Characters 2006/7/31 22:24 2151 3
Most, if not all, of you will recognize this pose and outfit as the one from my recent Daredevil pics. I really liked the costume on DD so I thought I would do an original character with it. I'm not good at thinking of characters on demand so I copped out and just went with sort of an exact opposite of DD. Which would be some kind of angel right? So, the Guardian Angel was born. Ok, so he's no Batman. I think he looks cool. |

| The Spectre: Inks VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/31 19:03 2495 8
Sorry to everyone who read the previous rant that was on here. I think I was just stressed and needed to release some of it. I've always liked the Spectre character but I don't know why they have never redesigned his outfit. Except for the Hal Jordan days anyway. The hooded cloak, gloves and boots I like but why the heck doesn't the guy wear actual pants? Why would he continue to run around in green underwear beyond the 40's and 50's. Anyway, I tried to design a suit for him that I thought would be cool and this is the best I could come up with. Seemed SO cool in my head. |

| Daredevil: Yellow VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/28 10:28 2103 3
Since his original suit was yellow I recolored this pic. I like how it turned out. |

| Daredevil VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/25 23:00 2017 4
I apologize. I have no indepth description or story behind this one. Just wanted to do a pic of DD. |
|
| Warrior Nun VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/24 20:37 2822 6
I've always liked the design of Ben Dunn's Warrior Nun Areala character so I wanted to do a drawing of her. I intentionally made the head overly large as somewhat of an homage to Mr. Dunn's style.
P.S. This is the last of the artwork I already had in my computer that I wanted to submit. I'll continue to post stuff I do that I'm happy with but it won't be quite as often as it has been. I'm sure the moderators will be relieved. I appreciate their patience with me. |
|
| A flip of the coin VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/24 20:32 2554 5
I had this image in my head for a long time but I couldn't get it right on paper. I did an older version that was ok but not what I wanted it to be. This one still has many defects but its closer to what I hoped it would be. |
|
| Vicious Snow Bunny VagabondX Original Characters 2006/7/24 20:30 2128 2
A friend of mine is a writer and I have illustrated several of his stories in the past. This is one of the illustrations from a story he did. |
|
| Iron Fist VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/23 19:46 2276 3
I am really looking forward to seeing what Ray Parks does with this character in the movie. If they still make the movie. |
|
| Vamp VagabondX Fantasy 2006/7/23 19:44 2447 3
I found an action figure a few years ago that looked somewhat like this. I liked the character design so I tried doing a pic of her. |
|
| Green Hornet and Kato VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/23 19:42 2432 7
I enjoyed the short lived 60's show and I can't wait to see what they do with the characters in the rumored movie. Although I'm worried about it also. |
|
| Supergirl VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/22 20:11 3158 5
Found a photo of an anonymous model that I thought would make a great Supergirl. |
|
| The Amazing Sumthin'! VagabondX Original Characters 2006/7/22 20:09 1833 3
People are often asking me to draw them sumthin. I always ask, "Like what?" to which the answer is usually, "Just sumthin'." Finally I figured thats exactly what they would get so I designed this little guy. Drumroll please. "THE AMAZING SUMTHIN'!!" |
|
| The Crow: Red Death VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/22 20:06 1882 1
I've always wondered why there haven't been more female Crow characters so I came up with my own. I don't have much of a backstory for her except that, because of her red hair she earns the nickname 'The Red Death'. |
|
| Fairy tails VagabondX Fantasy 2006/7/21 14:59 2475 4
I think this would make a great t-shirt. If its too racy for the regular gallery I trust the wise and powerful moderators will move it to the appropriate one. |

| Doom's secret. VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/21 14:52 2252 6
The inside story Marvel doesn't want you to see. |
|
| Contrasts in vengeance. VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/20 16:40 2243 5
A teamup that seems made to order. The similarities of these two are too good to pass up while the contrasts make it a perfect match. Both wield dual pistols, both somewhat supernatural, both garbed in flowing cloak type thingies and both prey on the evil of society. Man/woman, white clothing/black clothing. Seemed like a cool image in my head. And for those who don't know them. The lady is Dark Horse comics' Ghost and the gent is the pulp vigilante of the 30's/40's the Shadow. |
|
| Do I smell pork-er? VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/20 16:38 2119 6
Who remembers this blast from the past? Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider Ham! I just had to draw this guy. |

| An interview I'd pay to see. VagabondX TV and Movies 2006/7/20 16:32 2177 6
Would this not be the best talk show episode ever? |
|
| Sue Storm: Voluptuous style VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/19 15:04 3069 8
This is for the Sue Storm week. I tried to draw her as more of a voluptuous female rather than the thin as a rail, ribs pokin' out variety we usually see in comics. Although I'm a huge fan of those also. And don't ask me whats up with the hair. I have no idea. Hair, especially womens, is one of my MANY major weaknesses. |

| Snow White VagabondX TV and Movies 2006/7/19 10:35 2163 7
This is from some Snow White tv movie a few years ago. |
|
| Draw Off: No Erase VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/18 22:42 2180 5
Here's another entry in the draw off. This one was hard for me to resist doing any erasing on. I actually caught myself reaching for the eraser at one point. It was that left leg. This is some anonymous jungle lady. What was the hardest for me was to not use the contrast tool in photoshop. I usually do that to darken my pencils and its become almost a reflex. |

| Black suit spidey. VagabondX Marvel Comics 2006/7/18 21:36 1909 4
Did this as a gift for a friend who kindly put a link to my devart page on his blog site. |
|
| Berserk VagabondX Other Comics 2006/7/18 21:35 2258 4
This is the main character and villain from the Berserk manga and anime. |
|
| Anonymous mask. VagabondX Original Characters 2006/7/17 19:48 1985 3
I don't know anything about this guy. I just had the image in my head and thought it would look cool. |
|
| Love, Tim Burton style. VagabondX TV and Movies 2006/7/17 19:45 1779 3
This was an awesome movie. If anyone out there hasn't yet seen the Corpse Bride...you must! |
|
| Draw Off: No Erasing VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/17 7:06 2231 5
I liked Thayne Luc's pic of Checkmate so I was doodling my own attempt at it in my sketchbook when I thought I might as well make it a point to not erase on it so I could enter it in the Draw Off. |
|
| Adam Strange VagabondX DC Comics 2006/7/16 15:14 2009 4
I know this is an older character but I always liked the design of his suit. Although, I did this one before they recently relaunched his comic with a redesign of said suit. |
