- In Adventure Comics #260 (May 1959) and subsequent Silver Age comics, it was revealed that Aquaman was Arthur Curry, the son of Tom Curry, a lighthouse keeper, and Atlanna, a water-breathing outcast from the lost, underwater city of Atlantis. Due to his heritage, Aquaman discovered as a youth that he possessed various superhuman abilities, including the powers of surviving underwater, communication with sea life, and tremendous swimming prowess. Eventually, Arthur decided to use his talents to become the defender of the Earth`s oceans.

| I like those Elseworlds books that DC does. Its fun to see how they change around the heroes we know and love. This was a Batman from one called 'The Secret Society of Superheroes'. In that story, the heroes who make up the Justice League in normal continuity form a team but choose to work in secret. Never letting anyone even know they exist. Bruce Wayne isn't even Batman until the end but when he does take up the mantle I really like the suit they designed for him. This pic is that suit. sadly, it looked tons better in the comic. |

Wildstorm character JAKITA WAGNER was ported over to the DC universe nd was part of Batman's storylines. One of my fans, also a Batman fan, asked me to do my depiction of her.
I decided to do a version of her those showed both sides of her, while showing that she is indeed clinging to the DC Comics universe.
Let me know how I did! :)

I'm back from Comic-Con, where quite a few folks asked me why I'm not drawing sequential super-hero stuff. They especially wanted me to draw female heroes for DC, Marvel, Zenescope, and Aspen.
So I've decided to draw a several-page Wonder Woman sequence to show what I'd do with it.

energy and she will develop powers of a Super-Being.

Drawn by my brother...Colored by me.
My brother asked me to color a couple of his sketches, it turned out half-decent, so I figured I'd post it. Had to remove a lot of the paper marks, and discoloration from the scan of the drawing, but all in all...not too bad.

| After Superboy started gaining Superman's powers in the new Teen Titans series, a group of friends and I were pissed. We like his telekinetics powers. This is Project 14; he's a clone of Paul Westfield with all of Superboy's powers before he became a Teen Titan. |
