Another figure completed for my ongoing Generation X manip - Almost there now. Just have Penance to go...
I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out - the manip was fairly straightforwards - a blend of an unnamed model and Emma's costume constructed in part from a statue version of the character. I cheated a little there, but tidied up a fair bit of the detail and, of course, frankensteined the head of the beautiful Miss Theron into place. I can't think of a more suitable actress for the White Queen.
The costume is based on Frank Quitely's version from New X-men.
This is the second version of Emma I was working on for the Gen X manip - perhaps in time I'll finish the other version and post that too. |

Here is my version I guess if you will of the Black Mary Marvel. Recent work for a friend. Everyone seems to like this one latley. And of course as well do I. So I gave it ago. This actually the second one I did. First one I had about 4 1/2 hours into it and I was actually toggling between the Mac and the PC and when I went back to the PC off my Flash Drive I lost everything I had done for it. Ohh well I guess. So I started over. Note for this I guess. The model is Stephanie Larimore. Lightning put in from a desktop background. Rest is me. Tried to do more with painting in hair and such. But anyways..... take a look comments... always welcome.  |

This is actually the picture I had set out to do back when I did my first Emma Frost cover, but at the time, I couldn't find a girl in the right pose. Body is Brea Bennet, Face is Jana Cova, lettering lifted from the original comic cover, background pieced together from various google pics.

Edited: Added a background more suited to the character.
Spiral is one of my all-time favorite characters.
Before joining Heromorph, I never considered things like "casting" & "frankensteining" when doing photomanips. Silly I guess, since the great part of this medium is that there are no rules. So when it came to doing Spiral, it occured to me Christina Aguilera would be perfect, even if I could not find a picture of her in the perfect pose. |

| My first ever photomanip. I decided to use an original costume to get a feel for the process before trying to rigidly recreate anything, which is also why I didn't change the background. There are a few details I'm not thrilled about and might change in the future, but I'm done with this one for now. Feedback/advice welcome. |

Have to say that the headpieces on my last few manips have given me problems, but by the time I get to them, I've lost patience and am anxious to get to the next project. Maybe I should start with them first.
Interesting sidenote: Each time I try metalics, I do it a different way, and each time I'm relatively pleased with the results. Further proof that there is no one way to pull off a manip, but experimentation is key.
(still too chicken to attempt a hero with a cape, but soon...) |

i thint there arent so many of good old Enchantress, i used this model cuz i though she shouldnt look that young, but still be hot, otherwise ehy bodering with that name..
this one took me quit a time, i had some trouble with the helment and the background, i hope you enjoy, and please comment anything. |

| Not real familiar with this character. I believe she was a member of the Hellfire Club before joining the X-treme X-men. Not my best work. Was having problems with the belt and realistic shiny leather still eludes me. |

This is a monip i wasnt sure of until i was almost done, though im pretty happy w/ how it turned out. I had a lot of fun making this one, though lemme tell u -- webbing is hard to do. I hope sum 1 out there likes this pic as much as i liked making it

First of all... am I correct with her name?... well anyway she was pretty easy to do but I did change her head,because the original one didn't have the right angle.
