Here you can find some work I've been doing during your absence. Some guys are re-imagining again the whole ULTIMATE UNIVERSE, giving his own version of prominent figures as the defenders, moving away from the lamest vision that we can see on comics.

The continued evolution of Arachnia's suit continues. I won't be writting most of the changes in, but there will be a small change between issues 7 and 8 that will be shown in the Arc 2 piece and mentioned in the story. If you look at the older versions, you'll see some new ribbing and designs sewn into the costume... not sure if I'll incorporate them into the Arc 2 variation of the costume or not. The kids of Power Pack (worst.superhero group. ever.) where looking forward to a nice, quiet Halloween... when they heard a hard knock on the door and someone shout "Trick or Treat!" Better hope they still have some candy left to give. Or not. 
(I could go on and on about the many troubles I had making this one; but I'll just say that I had to make a it a sloppy, quick pic or not post at all for halloween. Oh, and I colored it on a PC with poorly calibrated monitor. So if it looks like shit... do tell me.) |

A fully redone edition though I like the pants of the old one better. Restarted from ground up but using same basic pose. This image is photomontage plus digital art, Created partially via merging images o real things (such as real velvet image in cape) and digital art pieces. Often adding shadows and hightones

So David told me (which I wanted him to) that my main problems with art are
*lack of dynamic look
*characters IN their environment
*Full body dynamic action
*room for lettering for covers

So I've been wanting to do a redo and really make it cool and bring it to life.
While waiting for my boyfriend to come over I started this and finished the line work today. (10/31/09)
So this is the line work. I will be erasing the lightning lines and painting it in. There will also be a downpour of rain when I'm done. The background mountains will be foggy and the vision will be blurred by the rain the farther back you go. I have mountains draw all the way to the back to let me know to paint it and fog it out. I will have links to the references on the final color. The model is triple H.
