This is The Cardinal created by K.J. Kolka. Its the longest running Christian comic ever. Started back in the late 70's from what I hear. I don't have much first hand knowledge of it but I'm impressed that its been around so long.
Although, the fact that its been around so long and I had never heard of it may speak for itself.:) |

| These are some characters that were originally created by a fellow Heromorpher. I'm not sure who exactly it was though. I believe it may have been MF. The original drawings look like their style. Anyway, I liked the characters and have been wanting to do a drawing of them since then. I figured I better try and get it in now since its that time of year. I'm sure I screwed up some aspects of the characters but I hope their creator doesn't hate me. |

*Modified it somewhat. Made the dark areas of his costume a little darker. Someone suggested that either here or on the other site. |

I changed the symbol on his chest from the Ichthus fish to another old Christian symbol called the Ichthus Wheel. |

| No this isn't a cheap shot at our resident BB. There is a jam on another site wherein we are supposed to draw a DC character as a zombie. I figured, what better person as a zombie than someone who is already 'dead'? At least until they bring him back to life. And yes, I know he looks like he has to pee. |

| Wanted to try some things in photoshop. Don't look so much at the drawing as the lighting effects. Only spent around 10 minutes actually drawing but worked for almost 2 hours coloring and trying to do cool energy/light stuff. |

| Here is another new Christian design without the armor of the last one. I figure the armor can be just a spiritual change when he has to deal with more powerful demonic foes. I also went back to the stone hammer but kept some of the shiny black aspect that I liked. I know the torso looks like its off kilter with the legs. I don't know what happened there except that I just drew it poorly. I kind of like this look but I'd like some other opinions. I still can't seem to get away from the Snake-eyes resemblance. The really sad thing? The whole time I was drawing this I truly thought I was making the head extra small to make him look taller and bigger and when its done what do I see? The head looks big and he looks sort of short. DANGIT! |

| I really like Halloween. So much that I felt compelled to do a Halloween picture even though I hadn't had a good idea for one. So, I ended up forcing this one out and as usual, something that had great possibilities ends up much less than it could have and should have been. But here it is anyway. Happy Halloween everyone. |

| Back around 1980, DC introduced a character called Superwoman who was a time traveler from the future. She was, I think, a history professor or something who came back in time to find out about a mysterious 'Superwoman' who showed up at that time to help Superman. Surprise, surprise, she finds out that the mysterious is none other than...herself. She was probably a casualty of the Crisis but if nothing else, she at least had a cool outfit. I wanted to do a pic of her so I have her walloping the evil Superman doppelganger from Earth....1 or 2 or whatever he's from called Ultraman. |

| The Christian: Redesign

| Many of you here have seen my character The Christian. http://heromorph.com/heromorph2/modules/myalbum3/photo.php?lid=2512 I've never been pleased with the design of him(much less the art but thats another story). I fear he evokes too much of Snake-eyes from G.I.Joe with the visor/goggles look and the dark blue outfit. I wanted his design to bring to mind how powerful he must be and hopefully even a couple of people might think it a cool design on its own but I don't feel the original look does that so I took a shot at a redesign. I went for an armored look this time. I think it looks cooler but that could just be because its new. I'll have to wait and see how it looks to me in a week. |

Joined a Thundercats Jam on another site and got stuck doing Jaga. I hate that costume he wears so I redesigned him. Went for a more 'knight'-ish look. He always struck me that way.
