Hadn't posted anything in a while and I wanted to get back into things. Still working with GIMP but it's not half bad. Still working with a mouse ... gotta get me a pad one of these days! |

| Manhunter Classic (female) erusnine DC Comics 2009/1/27 22:58 2855 4
I always liked the Walter Simonson Manhunter costume... so I decided to draw my version of that character. This is the first thing I've drawn with GIMP without tracing a photo... I spent a bit more time with this than my other drawings and I think it shows. I am pretty happy with the results.

| Ms Marvel erusnine Marvel Comics 2009/1/15 21:51 2557 2
Ms Marvel was the first female superhero I bought a comic for... I was like 10 years old. This is just me still playing around with GIMP and learning how to do things. |

| Supergirl Ponytail (Second Manip erusnine DC Comics 2008/12/30 15:32 4452 4
This is my second ever attempt at computer art / photo manipulation. It's really more of a manual tracing this time than an actual manipulation of a photo. Still using GIMP ... starting to learn how it works. I enjoy doing this. My deal to myself was that if I actuall manage to complete more than 2 drawing I would buy myself a digital tablet ... drawing with the mouse is hard! (LOL)
Regards!

| My First Manip - Basic Wonder Woman erusnine DC Comics 2008/12/20 14:05 4182 7
I have never done this before, but I love this site, so I did some image searches ... found a pic, and tried to add the costume. It's my first work. I downloaded a GNU image program called GIMP and started playing around. Never used the program before ... never did this before ... but I used to draw the old fashioned way (on paper) so I was hoping I might find an outlet here and some feedback. Let me know what you think. The background is from "http://www1.istockphoto.com/" and you can clearly see the "stock photo" watermark on the image. Next time I'll work on my own background. This time I was anxious to post... to get started.

Erus
