| Swordswoman darth_paul Original Characters 2012/9/20 5:41 1685 4
Captain Skullheart's Crew 4 of 7: Swordswoman. Much like my main team of characters, the Super-Mutant Nine, Swordswoman was inspired by how I grew up in the Tampa Bay area. As you can read in the bio above, I even decided to link the characters in her back story. |

| Pyra St. Croix darth_paul Original Characters 2012/9/19 9:45 1613 2
Captain Skullheart's Crew 3 of 7: Pyra St. Croix. Pyra is a former villainess turned heroine who now serves with Capt. Skullheart and her band of merry maidens. She is also the first character that I have released which introduces my own take on "people born with super-powers" which I like to call "Z-Factor Innates." [In my comics universe, "mutants" are more like the TMNT kind, where they are people or animals who were changed into a more powerful form via some kind of transformation. Metas would be be more like those who acquired powers by any other means other than via mutation, so I needed something different for the "just born with it" types and just went with the "X-Men" thing but changed the letter.] |

| Swashbuckler darth_paul Original Characters 2012/9/19 9:44 1684 4
Capt. Skullheart's Crew 2 of 7: Swashbuckler. First mate, second-in-command, security officer and the captain's cousin. You will also notice that her sword blade and glow outline are of a different color than Capt. Skullheart's. What I did was give each girl their own color blade to match their personalities somewhat and matched it to the glow that I gave to them so that each on was unique rather than have them all be the same as I've done with teams in the past. |

| Captain Skullheart darth_paul Original Characters 2012/9/19 9:43 1579 2
Capt. Skullheart's Crew 1 of 7: Zandarana Skullheart. She is the leader of my all female crew of sea/space pirates in my Coolstar Comics Universe. She and her team are somewhat based upon the Robin Hood legend. |

| Xel Interlopers - The Robotic Grunts of the Xel Empire darth_paul Original Characters 2012/9/3 10:29 2052 4
As the title says, these are the robotic grunts of the Xel Empire, an evil intergalactic race who pride themselves on conquering as many planets as possible in order to expand their reach, while using these android servants to do most of the dirty work. (Note: This bio page concludes all of the characters that have appeared in the Unlimited Evil comic through the first issue and first three chapters of the story.) |

| Time-Traveler V2 darth_paul Original Characters 2012/8/27 6:48 2573 3
Here is the unmasked version of Tony Tyler: The Time-Traveler. In the other version, B suggested that I try out his design minus the red highlights, so this is the result. I still kind of like it with the red a bit better, but I made a comment that I could possibly only put the red on the costume as kind of a "warning light" kind of thing for when his power levels are low. Either way it works for me. |
|
| O.C: Time Crook darth_paul Original Characters 2012/8/23 13:55 2686 3
There isn't much else to say about this character that hasn't already been covered in the bio above. He's just a greedy troublemaker that used to be an upstanding citizen before power and temptation overtook him. |
|
| O.C: Tony Tyler: The Time-Traveler darth_paul Original Characters 2012/8/23 13:50 3850 3
This guy doesn't really have a catchy code name, he's just simply Tony Tyler: The Time-Traveler and the concept behind him that he's kind of like an energy vampire that feeds off of chrono-energy rather than living things, but he has to perform good deeds in the places he goes before he can go to a new time and place a la "Quantum Leap" to get more energy. |

After seeing Chilly's take on G.I. Joe #1, I thought I would make fun of Transformers #1.
(Just updated it a bit with one more section of text to make it that much more humorous.) |

I hate to admit this but, I didn't even have to look up the words to this song. But, at least it's better than, "It's A Small World!" |

| Cover Flip: Lassie darth_paul Monthly and other challenges 2012/8/17 14:11 1886 3
Found this one, and the others too, on that cover browser site that pijon recommended. This was by far the easiest as Timmy's face just sold it, and all I had to do was replace the text in the black area. |

I didn't even have to add my own word bubbles for this one and it just practically made itself. |

| Time's Greatest Heroes Unmasked! darth_paul Original Characters 2012/8/13 8:05 1751 2
Just as I did before with my super-villain team, the Gremlin Organization, here is an image of my heroic duo, Backtrack and Instant-Rewind sans their helmets. |

| darth_paul's influence map darth_paul Monthly and other challenges 2012/8/2 12:24 2341 6
O.K., here it is, my influence map. I took a different approach where instead of putting in artists, writers or other creators I chose a selection of some intellectual properties that have influenced me the most, so I guess you could include the all the various creative individuals that made these happen. Also, I put some of them together rather than having two images b/c those just are kind of equal to me. Anyhow this is it, complete with my habit of using gradients and glow effects as design elements. |

| Obsidian Elf - Wicked Offspring of Elf Queen and Timestream darth_paul Original Characters 2012/7/18 15:26 1720 3
And, here is the mysterious daughter of Timestream and Elf Queen of the E.S.V. As stated before she is mentioned in Timestream's bio, but not by name. I haven't featured her yet in any comics, but I am very happy with the results of her design and the concept behind her as written in the bio above, and I know that she will be a fun character to work with in the future. There is a lot of convoluted family ties with her, and every character even remotely related to her, but all-in-all that's just part of the fun! |
|
| Timestream - Evil Gang Lord of Time and Space darth_paul Original Characters 2012/7/16 14:53 1725 2
I never mentioned anything about Timestream and Elf Queen's daughter in the bio that I've already posted for her in the past. Not, really sure why I did that, although I did mention that she and Timestream here had a "union." Well anyway, I've decided to elaborate here a bit on the fact that the two of them indeed do have a daughter and how just like Timestream is something of an evil counterpart of the Guardian Watcher, so to is his daughter a bit of the same for the Watcher's daughter, Hour-Lass, although the circumstances of their creation are very different, just like Timestream is shown above to be more than just an evil version of Guardian Watcher in that his past is different and he's made very different choices in his life. I also tried to show that although he is a very powerful character, that he is very cautious about how he uses his abilities and as a result limits himself somewhat so that he will never reach his full potential as his heroic counterpart has. |
|
| Hour-Lass - A Super-Heroine In Search of Herself darth_paul Original Characters 2012/7/16 14:37 1862 2
This is just sort of reiterating some what's already in her bio above, but I really don't know what else to say about the character here that hasn't already been covered in it. Hour Lass? real name is Bobbi Levitz and she is the daughter of Robert A. Levitz, a.k.a. the Guardian Watcher. Unbeknownst to him, she followed her father into the prime [Coolstar] universe from their alternate reality one. When she followed him she was but a child, but the cosmic space-time energies aged her to a young woman of age 18 when she emerged and also gave her time travel and time control powers similar to her father?s. She is now on a mission of self-discovery as a heroine in her new universe to make up for those lost years of her life due to the effects of the trip. |
|
| Guardian Watcher - Heroic Protector of Time and Space darth_paul Original Characters 2012/7/16 14:29 1538 2
This is the Guardian Watcher, he's a bit of a complicated character in that he is the heroic alternate reality counterpart of my villain known as Timestream, and was once part of a whole group of heroes that were the heroic alternate reality counterparts to Timestream's Evil Society of Villains, the Victory Society of Earth, so that's why he has their logo on his bio above even though he is the last remaining member and is no longer living in his home reality and now operates as a part of a loose knit group of time-traveling heroes & heroines instead. |
|
| Firecracker - Second in Command of the F.O.U.R.T.H. Party darth_paul Original Characters 2012/6/25 15:07 1874 2
While for all appearances, Firecracker is just a female version of my character, Fireworks, she is actually the second in command of his alternate team, the F.O.U.R.T.H. Party, when he isn't doing his regular job as part of the Galactic Police Enforcers. Besides the two of them, there are at least three other members, one other female, and two more males, and they all wear the similar uniforms and have the same cybernetic powers, making the total number of members as five when Fireworks is with them, but only four without him. However, the team name doesn't neccessarily refer to the number of members, but actually to them being an American themed team of heroes, specifially themed after American Independence Day, or The 4th of July. |

| The Gremlin Organization Umasked darth_paul Original Characters 2012/6/15 9:41 1862 2
It is what is says it is, quite simply this is what all of the members of the Gremlin Organization look like without their masks on. |
|
| Pressure: Armored Mercenary of the Gremlin Organization darth_paul Original Characters 2012/6/15 9:40 1618 0
Pressure completes my super-villain team, the Gremlin Organization. As stated in the bio above, he's had a past with his fellow teammate, Naught, and the two of them are similar in that they are both hired killers, but that's pretty much where the similarities end since Naught doesn't care about anything and has no ambition, and Pressure is fueled by greed and has a lust for power and secretly seeks to undermine the whole group, while Naught is content to be a lackey due to his futile attitude. |
|
| Disruptive Breach: Electric Cyborg of the Gremlin Organization darth_paul Original Characters 2012/6/15 9:38 1673 0
I had a bit of a tough time coming up with the motivation for D.B. as to why he would be a part of Upper-Hand's Gremlin Organization, as I wanted each of them to kind of specialize in a different kind of terrorism, espionage or organized crime. Then I figured that since I envisioned that he was from Africa, that perhaps he could be a conservationist, and thus go into the extremes of eco-terrorism which in turn would play into a desire to go against industries such as P.R. Nova's high-tech company which could been seen as "ruining the environment" despite the irony that D.B. himself is a high-tech villain. |
|
| Sabotage: Super-Speedy Saboteur of the Gremlin Organization darth_paul Original Characters 2012/6/14 6:33 1894 0
Sabotage as mentioned in the bio above is the only woman on the Gremlin Organization, my team of terrorist super-villains. She is also a bit of a lost soul and the only one on the team who while relying on the technology of her suit, can't really be directly controlled by Upper-Hand via it through his powers. Thus he has to rely on the other members of the G.O., especially Naught to keep her in line. The reference to her sister will be revealed in a later bio, as she is another prominent character of mine in another super-villain group, but that's all I'm saying for now. |
|
| Naught: Upper-Hand's Second-In-Command darth_paul Original Characters 2012/6/14 6:11 1486 0
Naught is the second-in-command of my super-villain team, the Gremlin Organization. I wanted to make his character as a person completely devoid of emotion who is a complete and utter evil bastard. Nothing matters to him, hence his code name and ability to nullify things with his weapon. |
