Okay, here?s an idea.
Members/viewers/lurkers at HM could donate a set amount, let?s say $20(?). Then, when an admin verifies the donation, the person can make a request to see a character.
And then HM artists will draw or manip the request. The admins will try to ensure at least 4(?) artists respond.
This way everyone wins?
HM gets the money.
Donaters get to see their character.
And the artists are contributing by doing the work to raise the money.
What do you think? Of course the amount to donate and number of artists to respond is up for debate.
I would suggest a couple of rules though. The request can be made for one character only. And it has to be something like ?Wonder Woman please.?
Not ?I want to see Wonder Woman wearing that costume she had for one week in 98, tied in her own lasso, bouncing on a trampoline trying to eat spaghetti.?
