You start doing that and you won't get any new people. Flip over to the origin's thread and you will see how most of the people got here. JR, Buffy, J4R, and allot of other people wouldn't have gotton on the site if it's turned into a pay site.
As a long time lurker (here before JR) it would be very hard for a non maniper to join in order to talk to people to about the hows and tips of the maniping.
On a brief side note, if someone knows of a decent manip program that is within a college student budget, please PM me.
