Demonoid still seems to be down. I usually hang out at Z-cult FM. But you need a # of posts before you get tracker access. Isohunt is good for the DCP packs but runs a few days later than demonoid. Honestly I think DC++ in the Comic Shack channel is better than torrents, it's what I use lately. But you need at least a few gigs of comics to share.
