I am not a man or a lesbian or even bi, but I do have to say I would be disappointed by a female superhero with a b cup. I will agree that some get wayyyyy too carried away with it, the cup size shouldn't exceed the head size, but anything less than a DD looks less striking to me. I find large breasts (within reason) to be beautiful, and so do most people.
And you are right that real women can't compete with them, but tell me, what man in his right mind is going to turn down a real woman in favor of a drawing? They can't compete, but they don't need to.
