S4P First Impressions (Poser talk)

Hey all,

Just thought I'd drop a new post about the brand-spanking new Stephanie 4 Petite figure that DAZ just released this week. I was looking forward to her release as she makes the perfect 'sidekick' type figure for a full figured adult 3d female.

So here's the skinny from me playing with the new fig and clothes today for about 8 hours.

Hair and clothes don't fit the figure; they fit the V4 adult figure just fine. You have to downscale everything to 91-92% to get it looking ok.

The base and so-called elite morphs for the figure are haphazard at best. The nice thing is that you can load in the V4, etc. (4th Generation morphs) with no trouble at all to get the look you're desiring.

If you have good 2nd skin type clothing MAT's, etc. then go for it. Or if you plan on having the sidekick naked and bound for the superheroine to rescue on a regular basis (not a bad idea either IMHO).

So my plan is to just wait a good year or so before I think about working with this figure again; I'm just tired of being a 'unpaid quality control' person for yet another in the ever-lengthening line of companies who are doing this to us, the consumers.

I'll keep a eye on renderosity and this fine site because the 3rd party content producers are where the real quality lies these days.

Well, that's my 2 cents; time for me to dust of V3 and get cranking on some superhero stories!
