Not sure if this is a bug or a new "feature", but it seems the thumbnails on the gallery pages are the full images resized via HTML, meaning there are 200-500KB "thumbnails" on the page.
As one of those poor suckers stuck with dial-up for the forseeable future, to say this is painful would be an understatement.
If this is a new decision by the site owners, then ignore this comment, but please give some consideration for us poor suckers with crappy phone companies...
