Poser takes a long time to learn to be proficient at. Most every old Poser figure or prop will work in Poser 7 (at least Poser 3-7). Hints. Download all the free stuff that you can find that you might possibly use (Renderosity, Renderotica, Content Paradise, DAZ3D, Poser World, Poser Pros, Runtime DNA [the list goes on]). Pose using the dials, don't try to tug on body parts. If you want to do hero stuff, download the characters you find at places like Heromorph and Animotions (I have a few things at my site). Warning: Poser is always hungry and likes it when you spend money on figures, props and environments.
As for an Archer pose, which figure do you need the pose for? What works for one figure, say James or P4 Dork, may not work for Michael.
