There was an Old episode of the twilight zone.
In the episode the main character, some random housewife, developed the ability to stop time. Most of the episode was her doing various things like stopping time and moving door to door salesmen across the street when the rang her doorbell, and other stuff like that.
at the end of the episode she stopped time when the news announced that the USA and Russia entered WW3. She went outside and looked up to see a nuclear bomb about 8 feet from the roof of her house.
I think the ending of this season would have been much better if they ended it with Hiro freezing time just as Peter was exploding.
