Re: deadline

Subject: Re: deadline

As another C2Fer that was moaning about the deadline, I oughta say that I'm worried for the very specific reason that I'll be out of town for a few weeks until August 5 -- just before the deadline! That gives me about 2.5 weeks to talk with my partner, decide on a subject, and do my half of the manip, but probably leaves my partner having to pick up the slack for me in terms of putting the final piece together. I still want to participate, cause it's a great idea, and I think I'll be able to get it done in time... but I don't know that I will and, as Dan said, I'd hate to disappoint my partner. And though I'm probably be the only one with this specific problem, I think a lot of people (on our side, anyway!) would be more comfortabe with a longer deadline, if only by a week or two. Some people work slower than others, after all... and I firmly believe you should never rush art.

So... I'll go along with whatever the Gods (aka Max and Mike) decide, but there's my two cents.

Cheers, all.
