Wow! Results from the awards are impressive indeed! Glad to see some of my favorite pics up there. The winning pics are certainly well deserved.
Some surprises, some not. Congrates to JR, who I believe, is his first time using a computer ( ), and to walk away with a few awards! Very respectable.
I was suprised that I didnt see more of a showing from the adult gallery, though. There are some really cool pics in there. definately if there was a "most relentless artist" award, BA would have a full mantle (is that why you're tryin to appease him with his own gallery? ).
I think its a great idea to give personal icons to the winners (I wouldn't mind havin one of my own someday), because generally most of the award winners are also the most active members on the site, and deserve unique representation. But what about those who win, and already have an icon; or those who won 2 awards? What do they get? 2 icons? I know, maybe their own gallery... or Winter's car... or one-on-one chat time with BB, and his infantile wisdom. I mean, "infinite" wisdom.
Take Winter for example. Already has an icon, wins 2(?) awards, is a moderater, and can pretty much have whatever he wants anyway. What do you award the guy who has everything? I know, I have a 32 page pdf of broken links. I hear he likes those.
