A couple of ways to get there.

First method.
Method one. From the home page click view account on the user menu one the second column. Then click the avatar link on the new page, located near the top in the middle.

Second method.
On the main menu click the HM network link. Then the My photo�s sublink. Upload an image to your HM network page you want as your avatar. Once uploaded click the icon that looks like a �head and shoulders in a frame� this will set the image as your own custom avatar. Remember when if using this method, to make the images avatar size as well as not too big in file size. If the picture is too big either dimensions or file size it just will not work. As well adult images are not allowed as avatars.

Comments from ex-members whose accounts have been deleted show up as "Guest". I've seen a handful of those on my older pics.

I haven't noticed any of my own comments disappearing (excluding the "taking you back" thing, which seems to have been cured by the server move), so I don't really know what could be going on. Some kind of server weirdness, I guess? Anyone wanna flag down Hawk or Brick?

I wanted to ask if you all had someone who does updates and takes suggestions :D

Because I have a few suggestions. One being a complete re-organization of the site. Mostly the galleries because there is so many images on the site and they seem to be all hard to navigate to me. One being that there are too many options and a few galleries within the galleries that are mostly empty. So the main galleries could be more simplified and re-organized so it does not take years to see the older work and so that the newer work can still be found.

My other problem with HM has always been the member pages, it is difficult to get to them and when you do they are very plain. The images in each members gallery are only listed instead of having thumbnails and a lot of the information on each members site is not really necessary. It looks more like a form than an artists gallery. Also when a member comments on an image or thread there is no way to directly reply to that person, you have to write everything all down in one. Which has always made me less likely to respond.

That being said, does the site work off of a template that only has so many options? (With no insult to you all cause you guys are awesome)

I just noticed that there have been more changes to the site and some suggestions being made. So I thought I'd put in my two cents

Thank you for the courtesy of your efforts.

For anybody else with a similar problem, I DID find that Micro$oft has published a READER for doc files. You can't edit them, but they do read. There's a similar reader for their .xls files, too.

It was remiss of me not to have advised when I discovered this but frankly, I was too urgently interested in making the transmaps work - getting a grip on those now.

Eventually I'm going to HAVE to spring for a version of Office - waiting until Win7 is released.

That could happen even the image pixel size is under the limit of the site galleries but the Max file size(byte) is higher.

My advice is to always preview your images before Submit to make sure everything is OK.

I hugely agree. The hit counter is a good indication of what kind of images grab peoples' collective eye. If I do an image that doesn't get too many hits, I'd be less inclined to do another in the same style and/or subject matter. That depends what kind of program you're using: If it's Photoshop, on the menu "Images" you'll find an option to resize the image. But I think almost every program have that option... Not sure because I've only used Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro and Gimp but all these 3 had the option to resize.

Hope it helps.

And don't forget to optimize your images so that the file size will be accepted also.

you are not saying that it doesn't scroll once you load the page but once the page loads it doesn't scroll fast enough for you. Because if you are saying it doesn't scroll fast enough then move the slider bar quicker. It has nothing to do with the site or code we have put on. once a page is fully loaded the speed of scrolling is Dependant on your machines memory and browser not the site. the site is skinnier so it in effect is taller then it used to be so it will take a fraction of a second to click the slider bar and drag it down to the bottom of the page,

But truthfully, I don't have time to trouble shoot a problem that would have to be on your end of things.

BTW, do you remember the name of the model the body belongs to?

About V4's private morphs, all I've found by now is a morph from Ulli3d (he's great... but you can't draw blood from a stone!) and a work from genitals-expert Arduino, but as he says on Renderotica, because of V4 having even fewer polys in her (almost) private parts than even V3 , all he could come out with was a genital "mask" to put over her hip, just like we had at the age of Victoria 2... IMHO it's a shame that such an accurate (and expensive!) model lacks such an important feature as human genitals. But that's just my 2 cents.
As by now I prefer Sydney and Miki, they're two great realistic (and anatomically correct) models!!

Did you know that there is a rule on the site saying if you post an image here you are allowing us to use it to promote the site/awards/and decorations? It has been that way for a very long time. ( I do not feel like looking it up because frankly I do not care, but in the rule threads somewhere is a post talking about banners and themes, asking people to post a message if they do not want to take part. Since joining the site and clicking yes that you agree to and will read all of the site rules and that you will follow them, I am sure you have read this post.)

That is why it was used, that is why no message was sent.
And now that is why it was removed. For not making a post in around a year then making 2 passively aggresive posts about the same thing makes the point. your image is no longer being used.

Bandwidth/downtime: We are consistantly exceeding our monthly bandwidth limit, causing the site to go down towards the end of the month. Steps are being taken to rectify this situation.

Posters:
You cannot edit a picture once it has been uploaded. You can edit text, but trying to reload an image will cause it to disappear.

The "Who's Online" module is currently not working.
