Some of the people over at c2f would like to know if any one is interested in a team up or a cross over competition with them.
I post at both sites and this came up over there during the last "break" heromorph had.
I don't have any details yet just polling for interest.
If this sounds like something you would like to do and represent Heromorph, sign up.

I would have mentioned something earlier but the uncertainty of Heromorphs future held me back.

SO basically you guys like my original suggestion to BB of having a second set of awards then (like artist's choice or Max's "The dodge and burns", good name btw Max).
What does everyone else think?
Should we make this second round of awards less serious then the first? Have stuff like the "Laughed my ass off award" for the most comedic gallery entry, and stuff like that.
I think that if we are going to do different awards show we should have the categories completely different and leave the more technical "best of" for the Annual Heromorph Awards (morphy's) and have the more "fun" awards for this one.
What does EVERYONE think about this idea?
Artists and non-artists please speak up; let us know what you are thinking about this? What would you like to see done? Do you hate awards? Do you have any possible categories? Do you tie your girlfriend up and spank her with a ping-pong paddle? Inquiring minds want to know.

Needs to be more defined, and needs two versions (Regular Gallery and Adult) but yeah.

What's the difference between this and "Hot Stuff!"? That needs to be defined.

for this to be fair, it has to include all artists, even Sir Blabalot. Since this will also require some work, I recommend this be a self-nominated category.

How do you define this? I think it's a great idea, but what counts as a beginner? For instance, Sir Blab is a beginner and will probably be one for a while, but Grimey was a beginner, and his stuff currently rocks! So, please define.

No, we shouldn't have the Heromorph awards bi-anually because then they lose their integrity and you'll end up having them whenever someone is bored of making Roswell Porn jokes.

You'll note that I used the word 'art' instead of 'manip'. That way we don't need to double up on every category while still including everyone.

And we can have some other categories that allow non-artists to have a chance (but not excluding artists):

For the reasons you cite I think we should bo semi-annual..hell anything that stimul8's more people to submit good work is justific8n enough.

I had an Idea, and I was just wondering what every one was thinking.
BikerBot and me were having a chat a while ago and he was asking about the heromorph awards and when they were going to be held again. Originally I had planned to make them a yearly event but I am open to making changes. He (BB) suggested that we made the awards every six months or so. At the time I suggested, that we leave the Heromorph awards (the Morphy's) an annual event and have a second set of awards let an artist choice awards (or something) half way threw the year.
I have been thinking a little bit about the site lately and with its uncertain future maybe we should hold the awards on a semi-annual basis because the site might not be here next year.
Not only that, but the Heromorph gallery has had 753 submissions since Jan 1/04, and that does not even include the adult gallery.
Anyway, This post is just chiming in to see what every one else thinks about this idea.

I've been known as Whoop since 1997 under the guise of Whoop, Neo Whoop, Whoop II, Whoop ZERO, Whoop TX, Whoopyour@$$, Woop, ElvisWhoop...ok the last one was a cameo gimmick but you get the idea.

Whoop is translated as "The Expressing Excitement" so it stuck with what I write.
