With hollywood doing all the remakes and updates of hero movies from the past and present. Who do you think would be the best actor to play "SUPERGIRL"?

Personally, I think WW would make a great Supergirl. But that's just me. And to quote Jethro "This movie will SUCK!"

It's really hard to find an actor to play a woman convincingly... Definately not that Patrick Swayze guy. He looked like a circus freak in that "To Wong Foo..." movie. Maybe Miriam from "There's Something About Miriam" and "Big Brother 5: Australia" is available. If they can make Jessica Alba look like a blonde superheroine why not Miriam? Maybe "Carmen" from "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" is available.

I'm trying to nip this one in the bud before we have another hard to read "Who Should Play Wonder Woman?" thread.

one of my picks would be 'Brooke Burns'. She was one of the hotties from Baywatch.

there should be a rule for comic book movies: the actors must have read the comics growing up in order to really nail the character.

I'll modify that a little...the DIRECTOR must have read the comics. Even if the actor knows the character backwards and forewards a bad director can totally screw things up.

I'd also like to nominate Rachel Nichols(The Inside) for Supergirl or Emma Frost. She has the look for either one.

Lets see......

Nicolas Cage had a MASSIVE comic book collection that he auctioned off for MILLIONS

Ben Affleck was a DareDevil addict and you saw how that movie did.

Michael Clark Duncan was the first to look confused when they offered him the part of the King Pin, since that was his favorite character and he knows he's white.

Ummmmmmm who else?.....................

Y'know I don't really think the director gives a damn about the comic book geeks vote. Not when the rest of the world has more money.

Did someone say Pamela Anderson? Is this thread about Boobies?
What? No, it's just another comic-book 2 movie thread. *sigh*
As much as I would love to see Supergirl blow...this isn't the quite what I had in mind.
Oh, that got me thinking: Jenna Jameson! And make it a vivid movie. THEN I'll go watch it. (and by 'go watch it' I mean wait 'til they show it on cable.)
