It's a Dead Man's Party!

Halloween is a special time for everybody everywhere. It's a time of friendships, long walks on the beach, staring longingly into the abyss as it stares back, and it's also an annual celebration in the DarqueImages househole. It marks the day after he was hatched or dug up or whatever they do to get one one those.

So as a way to join in the celebration of both Halloween and Darques more personal holiday the draw off is all about How Monsters Party!

Draw up your favorite monsters be they from movies, games, or even... dare I say it... comics Let's see how they throw down!

Due by the Last Stroke of Midnight Durring the Witches Hour on October 31st

You must draw this by hand, but you may do any type of finishes that you want. Since you have so much time, feel free to go crazy.

If you feel ambitious you can put the bithday boy in there as well as his bud the werewolf... they are both quite the party animals.

seriously, you can't allow yourself TOO MUCH artistic freedom here. Me as an Oompa? Completely unrealistic.

Well, a 6-4 (Damn you're big) Oompa is unrealistic... but if I simply gave you wings... viola... Warren Worthington III...(Angel for any of you that didn't catch that joke) And yeah... that is realistic.
The Oompa and the Werewolf take Manhattan. It will be a great musical. We could get Robert Downey to play the part of the Oompa... I mean, I can totally see him wearing a tutu and drinking wine coolers.

Well, just so you guy and gal know, 'ol Darque is going through some rough times. The wife and I split up after a four and a half year marriage and we are getting a DIVORCE. However, this could be a good thing for Darque as he is told by friends, apparently the ladies dig single dads and there is plenty of other benefits as well.

So yeah, it hurts and I'm pretty depressed, I even put another dent in something. Instead of my hand hitting a vehicle and getting broken, my head hit concrete wall...no the head is not dented. But I'll get over it and cope. Do right by the kids and myself.

So if anybody wants to draw in some dead girls or vampi chicks hanging all over Darque, that would put a smile on his face.

O.K. theres soon to be less than three days until the DEADline for the DEAD MAN'S party draw off...and there are at this point no entries...what gives? Is anybody participating in this one or do we have to just give it away?

I still plan to enter....I just hope I have time. Tooo many contests ......too much to do
I found some great reference pictures of Darque....go to google and type in revenge of the nerds.....it is like a gold mine.

Happy B-day Darque

Well, due ro the OVERWHELMING entries for the "Dead Man's Party" Draw Off, it ws a tough decision to make. After weeding through all of the one entries. I ultimately had to go with WinterHawk, pink socks and all...and being how I pretty much felt like a whipping boy on Halloween. Disappointing nonetheless that there had been only one entry it is WinterHawk who will come uo with the November Challenge.

I think he should get a ribbon and a "Hooray for the Retarded Kid!" instead of a Gold Membership though, being how HE IS a MODERATOR. now, I'm going back to bed for a bit before I have to go to work.
