Great stuff! Must have taken a LOT of time and effort (those who don't manip probably won't realise just how much went into this).
I always like Miss Vee's images because she doesn't hold back when it comes to being nasty to heroines.

Thanks to WH for getting it up so quickly ( I hear he's good at that) and thanks and apologies to Chief O'Hara - I didn't mean to swipe so much! ( I didn't realize it until I saw the whole comic. Co04 already has several photomanip comic books so maybe he'll try one. Thanks to BB for suggesting the idea. I included a special close-up scene for DD...

Awesome! I absolutely loved this!

I know how much work goes into these things so I don't fault MissVee borrowing any of my or anyone else's images at all. In fact, I'm impressed. The only thing I feel cheated out of is pages 8 & 9. Aarrgh!!!

Great entertainment and gags too. Highly recommended for everyone!

Wow Miss Vee, I'm impressed. All those re-used body parts. If you frankenstein a part more than once, does that qualify for a new term? Maybe "bride" the parts?

i thought the whole idea for this new gallery was to spotlight original works, not recreations of dc or marvel books

it is not a true recreation it is a parody. I doubt BB gave his bike to Batgirl in the real comic .

I doubt I would have put it in the comic section if it was a exact duplicate of the original.

Sorry if it's not what you like, so I thought I'd explain what went into it. In putting this project together I talked to several MODs and posted two sample pages explaining what I intended to do before submitting the comic to HM.
Although I used many figures and body parts from previous manips (and swiped a bunch from co04), I spent over 100 hours researching & downloading; photographing, developing, printing, & scanning background photos; and integrating the PMs and dialogue.
Although my PM Comic was "based" on an actual DC Comic -
that Comic was published more than 30 years ago and my PM Comic was "based" on my memory.
In addition, although my "Comic" loosely interpreted the original plot, it was not a scene-by-scene re-draw of the original. This is not a rant or flame - I think you raise legitimate issues, but I thought I'd explain why I went to all this trouble for something you think shouldn't be here. (BTW - I like your stuff - keep up the good work!)

I think it should also be said that we are a fan site. So I have no problems posting comic books that use existing characters either. original stories, or parodies of stories are fine.
Personally I think Vee did a great job and it was well within the spirit of our new section.
