I plugged my username into google to see what kind of results I'd get, and one of the links I was presented with was this
Supergirl Forever

I'm of two minds about the find. I was never asked for permission, but it's still pretty flattering.
I dropped them a line all the same asking to at least link back to my gallery.

I recognised PC's work there, as well as one or two others'.

That website bugs me how they give the images descriptive titles. If the image is untitled then the viewer can take from it what they choose (if anything), but a title can alter their perception.

But what really bugs me is that often they will post my crap images and ignore my good ones!

They put photomanips under the 'art' section... yeah, that's pretty good.

Your stuff was posted by someone else, which constitues theft. If you really wanted to push it you could make them pull the pieces off the site, but that would be up to yoou to chose. well, to be honest, i may drop them a line to ask them to include a link to the original file, but i'm not really that stressed unless i find out they've been removing my sigs or something like that. so long as they credit me, and so long as they dont make money from my art, i dont mind.

Well I plugged my username "wasmith" into Google and only got 3,200 hits. So far none of them are me... click, click, click...

Narrowing down by "wasmith" + "manip" gets some HM pages, to be expected.

Googling "wasmith" + "crap" is kind of fun... it gets you a petercotton link!

Nice to have a new hobby!

They've got a Supergirl manip of mine there as well and although my signature is visible below the picture it says "sent in by Supergirl Forever". That doesn't really make me feel like I'm getting credit for my work. I'm going to contact them and see if they will acknowledge me as the artist [like they did for r-o-c-i-n-a-t-e]...if they have a problem with it I'm gonna push the issue.
