unknown at this time. we hope soon, but I hesitate to say when because as soon as we fix one problem a different problem comes up.

galleries have been fixed. We had to re-write some the the php code that was in the galleries controls as the server we are on at the moment uses a more upto date version of php and some of the code in our hacked gallery modules was a little old.

Big thanks to Brick for finding the code line so that we could fix this problem,......

On to the next bug.

OK everyone please note that gif files and png files are no longer being accepted into the galleries. for animated gif makers, feel free to post in the scetch forum by hosting the file elsewhere and hotlinking it into the forum.
Optimization is the key to success. Most graphics programs come with an optimization method for images. Photoshop itself comes with a great tool for this. the smaller in file size your image is the less bandwidth we use.

People will tell you that you are going to lose image quality, this simply is not the case. most of the time file sizes can be cut in half or even more with no difference in the visible image. the reason. Computers like to save a bunch of crap that isn't really to do with the image itself.

Optimize and be a pal. every KB in file size reduced is a kb in bandwidth saved.

Hey Hawk, not sue if it is just my system or what, but when I try to access the fan fiction using IE, it 's locks the web browser cold. Even rebooted the system several times and tried again with the same result. Tried it with Fox Fire and it works.

my guess is it is because IE sucks monkey ass. I tried it myself and you are right.. Huh that's too bad. Well yet another reason not to use IE unless you absolutely have too
Yeah completely screws IE doesn't it....
I wonder why. Damn Microsoft.

It is really strange, you can enter the module thru the story itself, but it freezes when you go to the main pages. I really do not know as this was one of the few modules that we did not have to change. previous tests on this module had it working just fine before.

Another thing I notice, is that is to slow to scroll the galleries up, and down, and also the forums

I don't know but I'm using Firefox and the New Heromorph's scrolling motion seems to be jerky, like it's always in motion trying to catch up?
Even the slightest scroll and it seems to keep moving?
The same goes for loading all the images too?

Very Cool looking though!

Scrolling works fine for me in either browser. So my guess is you guys need to clear your temp file cache and cookies. or allow for more room for temps files, increase system and virtual memory as well probably will help. As the theme nor the coding would effect how you scrool when a page is loaded. that is something between you and your computer memory.

The fan fiction section is fixed. it was a problem with the template for the module it somehow got corrupted.

you are not saying that it doesn't scroll once you load the page but once the page loads it doesn't scroll fast enough for you. Because if you are saying it doesn't scroll fast enough then move the slider bar quicker. It has nothing to do with the site or code we have put on. once a page is fully loaded the speed of scrolling is Dependant on your machines memory and browser not the site. the site is skinnier so it in effect is taller then it used to be so it will take a fraction of a second to click the slider bar and drag it down to the bottom of the page,

But truthfully, I don't have time to trouble shoot a problem that would have to be on your end of things.
